Types of Roles
We believe in promoting from within the company, so everybody starts off as a trainee.
Your work ethic, values and results determine how quickly you progress.
As a fundraising trainee, you will have a dedicated mentor to guide you as you step into the world of sales.
Their job is to make you as good as, or better than they are — when we recruit we are looking for people we believe can match or improve on the current team, we are not a business that believes in holding people back.
As a trainee you will be onboarded into the Altitude Academy. The initial training lasts for 4 weeks with a blend of office and field based training. Our goal is that within your first 4 weeks you have picked up your first promotion, are independently selling and have a real understanding of the industry. Your job… watch, learn, ask questions and have fun!
Congratulations, you have had your first promotion and are now on the road to leadership. As a sales consultant you have completed phase 1 of our career navigation program (CNP) and you can now “get the job done”.
The next step is to get you “great at the job” and chase down your second promotion, to leadership, which is where things get really exciting.
As a sales consultant you already have the mechanics, mentality and theory required to be good. Now your mentor will help guide you through; goal setting, quality control, supporting others and becoming a top performer. It’s time to level up.
The reason leadership is so exciting… now you really get to start growing. One of the quickest and most effective ways to grow personally is through teaching others.
As a leader within the business you will have the opportunity to start building your own team and supporting new staff coming through the business.
In as little as 3 months you can go from “never having done a sale” to “teaching others how to sell”. The beauty of it, you will still have your own mentor to help guide you as you embark on the next challenge.
As a campaign manager you are now integral in the running of the office. You are still very much field based, selling and mentoring new staff. But, you will now also be learning the back end of the business as we continue to upskill you. It is very much a business development role.
Once you are at this role you will be involved in; office based training, recruitment, planning meetings, developing campaign strategies and general day to day running of the sales team.
